The reincarnation of the Scottish National League gave the club the opportunity to cross swords with players from across the nation. Due to circumstances, the intention to enter Division one was thwarted and two of our regular members, Iain McHarg and Billy Patterson signed up to play in Division 2.The standard was high throughout the season. South Ayrshire’s D1 team finished a mid-table 5th in what was a challenging season. With the demise of the West of Scotland Premier Division, many teams strengthened their squads with former premier players. NEW TEAMS and a NEW LEAGUE STRUCTUREThe new season is now in full swing with the first competitive matches being played this week.We have entered a 2nd senior team into the newly formed West of Scotland Division 3.
